On Wednesday, Haryana meeting speaker Gian Chand Gupta nominated Singla as chairperson of the committee of privileges that features eight members — Aseem Goyal, Satyaprakash Jarawta, Appear Trikha, Shamsher Singh Gogi, Amarjit Dhanda, Varun Chowdhary, Harvinder Kalyan and Singla.
