NEET 2021 was held on September 12.
NEET is the only entrance examination which is held for 10+2 college students to grant them admission to undergraduate medical programs like MBBS and BDS. Near 16 lakh college students had appeared for the examination this yr.
The examination is held in 13 Indian languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and Punjabi.
In October, two college students had filed a petition in Bombay Excessive Courtroom looking for instructions to NTA to carry a re-examination for them on account of a mix-up of take a look at booklets. Vaishnavi Vijay Bhopale and Abhishek Shivaji Kapse, who appeared for NEET on September 12, had filed a petition earlier than the Bombay excessive court docket complaining that they obtained little time to put in writing the examination as a consequence of a mistake by the invigilator who dropped the take a look at booklets resulting in a mismatch of OMR sheet and take a look at booklets of six college students. The excessive court docket had directed NTA to carry a contemporary examination for the 2 candidates. Nonetheless, later the SC stayed the order and requested NTA to launch the results of NEET 2021 and put together a plan for the involved college students.
